Support the Kansas Federalist

It just seems like yesterday that I was a political neophyte running for sheriff and boy was that an eye opener! Since 2003, I have seen my career begin anew with an important job serving and protecting the great people of Johnson County after a long career as a special agent and as a state trooper. I am deeply honored to have been only the 28th sheriff to serve Johnson County, Kansas.

And I have no regrets. After sheriff, I decided to become an Entrepreneur and start a company, called Sheriff Myers and Associates. But in addition to providing for my family, I always wanted to counter the media, give an alternative, if you will, to the leftist bias that does occur in the majority of media outlets.

During my term as sheriff, I would look at Bernadette and be in shock as some media outlets misrepresented my office and my policies. Public perception is the reality and the media knows it. Before being sheriff, Bernadette and I, and many of our family members and friends really thought the media was relatively neutral. We could not have been more wrong, and I had to see it myself to believe it.

So I started the Kansas Federalist. In 2005, it started as a blog, just a posted site offering my thoughts and opinions. And now, two years later, it has turned into an E-News site with thousands of viewers for each release. We have readers across the country as well as being linked to many other respected conservative sites. And it’s all relatively free for the reader!

In saying that however, it is important to pay the bills. With your help, the Kansas Federalist can continue its mission in 2008. If each of our readers gives $25 for the year, TKF can continue its mission to provide a Federalist perspective to readers. If many of you consider even more of a gift, such as $100 per year, then TKF can market itself to even more potential readers. We also offer great advertising opportunities for your company or organization.

It is extremely hard to ask for money from good people. In fact, I hated it while as an elected official. But I am asking you this time because it’s about getting you the information that you may not read in the liberally-controlled newspapers, and to help the majority who don’t have the time to do the research. So sit back, relax and let us do the work for you.

I hope that you will consider a special gift to the Kansas Federalist E-Newsline. If it isn’t in your treasure to give right now, then I ask you to forward our news to others and continue to build our readership.

May God bless you during this CHRISTMAS Season!
