Welcome to the New TKF!

Dear TKF Readers,

For the past two years, the Kansas Federalist has been in operation as a news source for both national and local news. I want to thank you for your loyalty to the site.

Now, as we head into our third year, like many other news sites, we have undergone a facelift. Now you will have three "newspaper-style" columns -- with the left hand column being National News, the middle column being "Local News", and the right hand column being "Commentary". Below the Local News and Commentary areas will be other features you have come to enjoy at TKF -- including the "Daily Reading" and other sections we have added over time. So, please check back in future issues as we add sections to make this site more of a resource and a frequent stop for you.

If you're wondering where the "old stuff" went -- you can still access it. Simply click on Archives from the menu on the upper left, and it will take you to two choices -- a link to the "Old Archives" (which is the old site, pre-election 2008) and then a list of "new archives" including links to specific issues of TKF, as well as links to each separate commentary in previous issues. Once a new issue is published, the previous issue will appear in this section.

Finally, in order to keep this website funded, I need your support. If you can donate just $25, that would go a long way towards keeping this website up and running. To do so, simply visit the Support page and send a check to the address listed. We will have online payments ready soon.

With that, please enjoy your first issue of The New Kansas Federalist!
