<Sebelius to Congress – We need more immigrants
Story
In a recent letter to the House and Senate leadership, 13 governors, including Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius complain that their states are being crimped by a lack of highly skilled workers -- a problem they say could be solved by bringing in more illegal immigrants.

US Judge – Kline had authority to fire prosecutors
Story
Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline had the authority to fire eight employees after he took office this year, a judge has ruled. U.S. District Judge Kathryn Vratil dismissed part of the former employees’ lawsuit against Kline in a ruling, saying that Kline is a state employee who has the authority to hire and fire.

Federal judge rejects Tiller’s request to block grand jury
Story
U.S. District Judge J. Thomas Marten refused to order Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Bill Gale and County Administrative Judge Michael Corrigan to refrain from seating the grand jury. Tiller’s attorneys had argued that a petition that had enough signatures to force the formation of the grand jury was “part of a repeated, persistent and harassing effort to induce criminal prosecution” of Tiller.

Liberal Democrats or Liberal Republicans – Same Agenda Same Money

While the "liberal" Kansas Democrats and the "moderate" Kansas Republicans have their political differences, their goals are often similar, and both groups work against "conservatives." Both the "liberal" Kansas Democratic Party (KDP) and the "moderate" Kansans Traditional Republican Majority (KTRM) share many of the same "progressive" agendas in Kansas. And the same source of money.

Minutemen to hold convention in Kansas City
