Kansas has Pathetic Tax Rate
Kansas Has 15th Highest State/Local Tax Rate in Nation
It was no surprise to learn from the Tax Foundation today that Kansas is in the top third of states in the country for combined state and local tax rates. It ranks 15th in placing this kind of burden on its citizens.

Bishop Miege High School formed their Robotics Team at the beginning of the year to compete in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition. Along with alliance teammates Newton (Kan.) High School and Lincoln Academy (Kansas City, Mo.), captured first place in the FIRST Robotics Competition in Kansas City on March 17. Now they’re headed to Atlanta for the World Championships at the Georgia Dome April 12-14.
